As a member of the ERC project "POLCON – Political Conflict in Europe in the Shadow of the Great Recession" I studied the political aftermath of the 2008 economic crisis and the question of political transformations in crises more generally. I wrote my PhD dissertation on these issues and I continue to be interested in them, most recently in the framework of reactions to the current Covid-19 crisis.
